The Events Committee and the Museum Committee are looking for volunteers to help them in two specific areas.  One area is helping with the special events that are held at Keizer Heritage Center (weddings, birthday, anniversary. meetings, etc).  We always have a person on site to open up (or close) and also in case the users need additional equipment or need a question answered.  The second volunteer need is hosting in the Museum during our open hours.  This is either a two-hour or three-hour time frame, once per month.  Volunteers are currently needed for the following shifts:  1st Saturday of the month from 1 pm to 4 pm;  2nd Saturday of the month from 10 am to 1pm;  4th Saturday of the month from 1 pm to 4 pm; and, varies by month, 5th Tuesday or 5th Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm.  A short training session is provided for either type of volunteering.  Call 503-393-9660 if you are interested in helping.
